95 – 0 ….! ‘Nuff Said……. Only
Joking!!
The Lismore girls put up a brave fight against the might
of the Edinburgh Wanderers back line, but the second half
saw them unable to stem the onslaught from Petlevanaya, Shepard
and Millard.
The positives that can be taken from the game are that ball
retention by Lismore was superb and the forwards battled well
up front with the ball in the hand unfortunaltley for Lismore
all too frequently the ball was turned over and shipped along
the Wandies back line with deadly effect.
With coach Billy watching hopes are high for the return fixture
at home for Lismore when we can work on our strengths and
work even harder on our weaknesses and hopefully reduce the
deficit next time around. Many thanks once again go to the
old girls that stepped into the breach Penny, Mags and Rosie
who unfortunately was inured by her own team mate (Ahem, no
need to mention names!!) and also to the girls Jemma and Caroline
from Berwick who helped us out.
